Meet Stephanie Johnson

With over 16 years of experience in corporate finance, business growth, and strategic planning, Stephanie Johnson founded Organic Growth Business Consulting to provide high-integrity financial leadership for mission-driven organizations. Based in Washington, DC, the firm unites top CFO and finance talent to deliver outsourced CFO services, strategic clarity, and scalable financial infrastructure – rooted in Stephanie’s proven methodologies, championing growth from the inside out.

Stephanie has held every financial leadership role—CFO, Director of Finance, Financial Controller, Consultant, and Partner – and holds degrees in both Finance and Marketing, with additional studies in Mergers & Acquisitions, Neurolinguistics Programming (NLP), Coaching, and Performance Psychology. Her background allows her to translate complex financial data into actionable strategy, empowering leaders to make confident decisions that prioritize alignment, sustainability, and long-term success for the business and the leader.

At Organic Growth Business Consulting, Stephanie has pioneered The CFO Collective, a new model for sustainable consulting. This ecosystem not only provides organizations with high-caliber CFO partners but also supports and develops top finance professionals through mentorship, collaboration, and coaching- raising the standard of outsourced CFO services across the industry.

Beyond Organic Growth Business Consulting, Stephanie is also the founder of The Business Doctor, where she works directly with entrepreneurs as a coach and strategist, helping them align financial clarity with mindset and leadership growth. She is also the co-founder of The Holistic Business Community, a membership-based network for health and wellness entrepreneurs to collaborate, grow profitable businesses, and create sustainable impact.

A certified yoga and meditation instructor as well as an NLP-certified coach, Stephanie not only teaches in her local community but also integrates wellness and mindset science into her leadership philosophy. She believes that when people feel grounded, resourced, and aligned, business & life thrive – and she brings this philosophy into every partnership.

When she’s not guiding organizations through growth and transformation, Stephanie can be found teaching yoga, speaking at the intersection of finance and mindset, or enjoying life in Annapolis, Maryland with her husband and four children.
